DC Musical Shabbat

DC Musical Shabbat welcomes families and friends of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate Shabbat together in song. On two Saturdays each month, DC Musical Shabbat gathers in Northwest Washington, DC to sing, jam, play, and weave a rich Jewish experience for adults and kids alike. We aim to provide our children with a fun and dynamic Shabbat experience that grounds them in Jewish culture, values, and tradition while offering adults a space to connect and renew through heart-opening song.

At DC Musical Shabbat, we aim to create inclusive and joyful Shabbat experiences that center music and community. We believe in the power of song to connect and uplift, providing a nurturing environment for families and individuals alike. Our gatherings celebrate Jewish culture and tradition, fostering a sense of belonging and renewal for everyone involved.

All are welcome – ages 0-120, Jewishness completely optional, literally atheist to orthodox.
